A perfect dessert combining sweet apples and tart cranberries, ideal for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 5 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples and fresh cranberries with the sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well mixed.
  4. Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared pie crust and dot it with pieces of butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Notes

Let the pie cool before slicing. It can be served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
