Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with the batter, then add a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center, and top with more batter until almost full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.
