Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups green cabbage, sliced
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula; cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add sliced cabbage, stirring until it wilts, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; stir well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Remove from heat and toss in green onions.
  9. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for the best flavor and texture. You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
