- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups green cabbage, sliced
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula; cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add sliced cabbage, stirring until it wilts, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; stir well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and toss in green onions.
- Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
Use fresh vegetables for the best flavor and texture. You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
