Description

A classic dessert that combines a sweet, sticky filling with crunchy pecans and a warm bourbon flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, making sure to cover the bottom and sides.
  3. Spread the pecans evenly across the pie crust.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, bourbon, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture over the pecans in the pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  7. Allow the pie to cool before serving.

Notes

Delicious on its own or served with whipped cream or ice cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
