Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and fit it well.
  3. Spread the pecans and chocolate chips evenly in the pie crust.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, and bourbon until well combined.
  5. Pour this mixture over the pecans and chocolate in the pie crust.
  6. Bake for about 50-55 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to four days or freeze for up to three months.
