A delightful dessert combining chocolate and espresso for a creamy and indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup brewed espresso
  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chocolate graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in brewed espresso, melted dark chocolate, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Pour cheesecake batter into cooled crust. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
  6. Turn off oven and leave cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  8. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is well softened. Use high-quality dark chocolate for richer flavor. Let cool completely before refrigeration.
