Description

A festive and delightful treat combining chocolate and peppermint, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
  • Crushed candy canes (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar or bowl, combine the oats, almond milk, Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and sweetener.
  2. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
  3. Cover the jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight.
  4. In the morning, take the oats out and stir them again. If you want a creamier texture, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Top with chocolate chips and crushed candy canes before serving, if you wish.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Cover the jar or bowl to keep it sealed.
