A warm and comforting Creamy Beef Pasta dish with rich sauce and tender ground beef that’s ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing
Instructions
- Cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until softened.
- Add the lean ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks until browned, then season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and reserved pasta water until the mixture thickens.
- Off the heat, mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add the cooked penne to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley.
Notes
Chop vegetables and measure ingredients in advance for smoother prep. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
