Description

A delightful and comforting creamy pasta dish featuring lean ground turkey, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar or cream cheese)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned and fragrant, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  3. Boil the pasta in a separate pot according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked turkey.
  5. Allow the mixture to simmer gently, watching as the cheese melts into a creamy sauce.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything until well coated.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For meal prep, combine the turkey and sauce ahead of time and store in the fridge. Reheat gently before adding freshly cooked pasta.
