Description
Tender beef ribs slow-cooked in BBQ sauce, perfect for a cozy family dinner or a weekend gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 to 3 pounds beef ribs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Season the beef ribs evenly with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub the spices into the meat.
- Arrange the seasoned ribs in the crockpot and pour the BBQ sauce over them, making sure each piece is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours until the ribs are tender.
- For an optional finish, transfer to a baking sheet, brush with reserved sauce, and broil for 2 to 4 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
Notes
For a milder dish, omit cayenne and add brown sugar for extra caramelization. Choose a BBQ sauce that defines the final flavor.
