Description
A simple and delicious side dish of green beans cooked with garlic and butter in a slow cooker.

- 1 1/2 lbs green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Place the green beans in the crockpot.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Pour the garlic butter over the green beans and stir to coat.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours until the green beans are tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a flavor boost, add a squeeze of lemon juice or red pepper flakes for some heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
