Delightful pumpkin bread with warm spices and a crunchy crumb topping, perfect for fall or any time of the year.
Ingredients

- 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup canola oil (or vegetable oil)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cold and cubed butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease two 8×4 bread pans with baking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, and ginger.
- Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until combined.
- Create a well in the center and pour in the oil, mixing until just combined.
- Add eggs two at a time, mixing after each addition until combined.
- Pour in the pumpkin puree, water, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the crumb topping. Cut in the cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping over the batters in the pans.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Tent with foil if browning too fast.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with butter or cream cheese. Store wrapped in plastic or foil at room temperature for 3-4 days, or refrigerate/freezing for longer storage.
