- 8 ounces dried pasta noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain the rest.
- In a skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté lightly until fragrant.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix well.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Add the reserved pasta water and the remaining butter. Toss everything until the pasta looks glossy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, topped with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley for garnish.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality butter and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Feel free to add cooked vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes for added nutrition.
