  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Whipped cream, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the molasses, brown sugar, heavy cream, eggs, and spices until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  6. Once cool, decorate with whipped cream.

Notes

Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled, with whipped cream and a beverage. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
