- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 eggs

- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Whipped cream, for decorating
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the molasses, brown sugar, heavy cream, eggs, and spices until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Once cool, decorate with whipped cream.
Notes
Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled, with whipped cream and a beverage. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
