Ingredients

- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, or your choice)
- Coarse sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sourdough discard, warm water, sugar, and olive oil. Stir until well mixed.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise at room temperature for 4-8 hours or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a baking sheet with olive oil, transfer the dough, and spread it out with your fingers to create dimples.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dried herbs and coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
