Ingredients

- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon or ground sausage, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add in the yeast mixture and melted butter, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough and fill it with the chopped turkey bacon or ground sausage and cheese. Roll tightly and slice into individual rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and brush with beaten eggs.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
