Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  3. Gently stir in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
