- 500 grams boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 red bell pepper sliced into strips
- 1 green bell pepper sliced into strips
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper adjust to taste
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water to form a slurry
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Prep the Ingredients: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and slice the vegetables (bell peppers, onion, celery).
Cook the Chicken: Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Stir-fry Vegetables: In the same pan, add the bell peppers, onion, and celery. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften but still retain some crunch.
