Ingredients
  

  • 2 large boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz fettuccine or spaghetti cooked al dente
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill a large saucepan with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water and drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer. Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Return cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss well, adding reserved pasta water as needed to adjust sauce consistency.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
